Performance and Utility
The 1500 TRX has the most powerful engine in the 1500 lineup, and it's certainly one of the most powerful half-ton pickup trucks out there. The TRX gets a unique supercharged 6.2-liter eight-cylinder engine. Not only does this engine sound amazing, but it generates 702 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. With four-wheel drive and eight specialized drive modes, the TRX is ready for any Fort Mill adventure.
The TRX is designed with airflow in mind. The most obvious air intake is the large front grille with flow-through R-A-M badge. It also has an air intake scoop in the hood with signature amber lighting. Finally, the wide fenders make room for even more air flow features. On the other side, the TRX is equipped with a dual exhaust system that emits the satisfying growl of this powerful engine.
Interior
This premium truck's interior has just about everything you could want to stay comfortable around Lincolnton. The black seats have red trim and unique TRX stitched badges. The driver's seat has standard eight-way power adjustment, and the same is available for the passenger seat. Heated and ventilated seats are available for both the front and rear seats. The driver's seat even has two-position memory available.
The dual-zone automatic climate control system is standard on the TRX, and the front windows have one-touch up and down, allowing you to keep your hands on the wheel as much as possible while still getting terrific cabin air flow. The rear-view mirror is not only auto-dimming, but it can also swap to a digital display to show behind your truck even when your view is obstructing by your payload.
Technology
If you love to listen to music or podcasts on the job, you'll be happy to hear that the Ram 1500 TRX has nine amplified speakers with a subwoofer standard, and if you want something with more punch, a 19-speaker Harman Kardon® Premium Sound system is available.
You can connect Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to the 12.0-inch touchscreen display to easily choose your next song or use your phone's navigation. The five-year SiriusXM® Traffic Service and Travel Link Service subscription that comes with the TRX allow you to see Rock Hill gas prices, real-time traffic, weather and more.
A head-up display is available, projecting important information right on the windshield. You can see your current speed and the current speed limit, directions, what gear you're in, if you have an incoming call and more. Plus, you can customize what information is displayed to get exactly what you need out of it.
