The new Jeep Wrangler is an SUV that is as comfortable on uncertain mountain trails as it is on the busy streets of Gastonia, NC. It has the fun-loving interior that’s a pleasure to ride to Friday night dinners or weekend football games. But it also has the rugged capability to traverse off-road trails.

Performance

The new Jeep Wrangler offers a choice of the following engines:

  • The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 with eTorque generates up to 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque with top towing at 3,500 pounds.

  • The 2.0-liter Turbo generates 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque with the same towing capacity and gets up to 24 MPG on the highway.

  • The 2.0-liter Turbo with eTorque has the same performance specs with up to 22 MPG on the highway.

  • The 3.0-liter EcoDiesel produces 260 pound-feet of torque and 442 lb.-ft. of torque.

Trail-Rated® Badge

All trims of the new Jeep Wrangler wear the Trail-Rated® Badge to show competence in five areas.

Traction is enhanced by three available 4x4 systems. Water Fording is possible with sealed electrical connections, a high air intake, and moisture-proof body openings. Maneuverability eases navigation around obstacles or tight passages. Articulation keeps the wheels on the ground even while you’re traversing large rocks and logs. Ground Clearance lets you drive over anything on the trail with the underbody protected by skid plates.

Exterior

When you want to get closer to your environment, you can open the top whether you choose the Sky One-Touch™ Power Top, the Zipperless Sunrider® Soft Top, or the Freedom Top® Three-Piece Hardtop. Strip off the two or four doors and the rear quarter panels. You can even fold down the front windshield when you want to feel the rush of wind around your face. Carrying you forward are wheels measuring 17 or 18 inches.

The place to find out more about the new Jeep Wrangler is at Gastonia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Gastonia, NC. Make the call to day to arrange an appointment for a test drive.
