Muscle Meets Open Sky

The Dodge Challenger Droptop convertible conversion was designed by world renowned builder Jeff Moran and connects legendary performance with open air freedom for the ultimate driving experience! Moran and the team at Drop Top Customs have ensured that your new Challenger convertible will be just as pleasing to the eye with the top up; with specially designed cuts, attention to the eye line, canvas top frame shape and blending to the rear quarter panel flow to maintain the iconic shape of the Challenger.
Performance
The Droptop Challenger receives proprietary under structure reinforcement and strategic stiffening treatment in the cabin, under the hood and for the A pillars. Independent tests conducted by Roush Engineering confirmed the chassis design performed as well if not better than similar chassis from factory convertibles.

Motorized Canvas Top
High grade mechanical tops are installed with single button operation from a driver side switch.

Plenty of Trunk Space
The top mechanism was engineered to retain 80% of the original trunk space.

POWER TOP

All tops are hydraulically powered for thousands of trouble free cycles. 

QUARTER WINDOWS

Fully operational quarter windows maintain the styling and distinctive body lines of the Challenger.

CONVERTIBLE TOP MATERIAL

The top material is a very color fast and durable acrylic polyester cloth.

PADDED ROOF

The roofs have a padding and insulation layer between the bow structure and the roof cloth for complete sound and temperature insulation.

HEADLINERS

Full fabric headliners that complement the car interior colors provide a finished look and cover the internal bow structure.

FINISHED HEADER

Painted header for added style and seal durability.

INTERIOR SPACE

The original, full rear seat and legroom is retained.

TRUNK SPACE

Approximately 80% of the original trunk space is retained even with the top down. Room for two bags, or one body.

REAR WINDOW

The rear window is a large, heated glass window designed specifically for the Challenger

REINFORCEMENTS

The car is reinforced substantially, inside and underneath. There are beams in the rocker area and elsewhere underneath, gussets at the center and rear doorposts, steel channels at the rear deck and beams connecting the rear shock towers. The cars are exceedingly strong and stay that way over the years.
